AIDS: The No1 Enemy of Nigeria
In the times past several care and support programmes were developed to cater for the Most at Risk Persons (MARPs) as well as PLWHAs and OVCs.
This gave rise to the need for the co-ordination of efforts and resources channeled to care and support.
Following this, the Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN) was established to bring all infected persons together.
This platform facilitates interactions, information sharing and capacity building opportunities for PLWHAs. It also facilitates easy access to socio-economic support for newly infected persons.
