OUR CHARITY

Tears to Smiles is a charity organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and illnesses. Tears to Smiles is dedicated to serve all people regardless of race, gender, religion or ethnicity.

Financial support is received from: charitable trusts, corporate supporters and individuals to sponsor families/children in poor communities overseas and in the UK.

Although, our Charity was originally established in 1993, for most of the time it had unfortunately remained dormant. However, recent changes in management and trustees have now made it possible to re-embrace the 'Tears to Smiles' vision/mission and have established big future plans for the charity.

The charity has five trustee members who are professionals in the law society, managerial positions and a catholic priest.

Whatever we do, we place a special emphasis on ensuring that the welfare and healthcare of children are our priority, because they are often the hardest hit by chronic poverty, illnesses, conflict and disaster.

WHAT WE DO

Our efforts are directed towards:

Emergency Relief
Keeping People Alive
Education
Breaking the Poverty Cycle
Providing Orphaned & Abandoned Children's Homes

We aim to provide direct relief on the ground in the countries which we support and have already established a network to implement and control this.

Our aim is to provide funding immediately to people in need to alleviate their suffering.

This is why we are urgently seeking your help for our causes.

Donations are desperately required to ease the situations arising in the world, especially at this time during the current world recession, which is affecting everybody, and will undoubtedly affect the very poorest the most.

Every family and child are entitled to a decent childhood, affordable education, three meals a day, clothing and shelter and access to medical facilities.

Our vision is for a world where all people have access to education to enable them to fulfil their potential to live positive, healthy lives and contribute to the development of the society in which they live, and play their role in world affairs.
